The generous person shares. He can even share with rivals when it helps him make a contribution to the larger cause. Because there’s enough.
The question isn’t “will people see me and be impressed?” Instead it’s “am I being a contribution to those around me?”
Kindness sees the good and the flawed in each person and circumstance. Then kindness says gently, “Keep going. There’s more to come.”
The question isn’t whether your work is perfect. The question is whether it’s the best work you can do given the circumstances.
We’ve been told that only the paranoid survive. But too much fear makes smart people stupid. Too much fear makes decent people mean.
